The Net of Artists declares:
The instrumentalization for election aims by the Foundation Basso and Luisa Morgantini of the project of denounciation of the war crimes by Israel in front of the International Penal Court and the Italian action about the courts of national rights for the defense of Palestineans.
The unfair behaviour of an European parlamentarian, who makes abuse of money and power, to defraude civil society of its highest actions. A real shame in front of the international movement.
The action of imposure of a political party creates scorn in this particular situation of defense of the rights of the Palestinean people.
A public exposure of the Italian corruption in trying to get a seat in the European Parliament, for his own or for other candidates, while a people is suffering genocide since 60 years, an 8 meters high wall and the unilateral attacks of a foreign colonialistic power.
An antipopular action coming from the Tribunal of the Peoples, an action to cut civil society from its initiatives, which repudiates the cultural, moral and statutarian roots of the Foundation Lelio Basso.
The old traces of the Russel's Tribunal will make only words for Palestine, producing, like in Iraq, strong splits in the civil society.
The right of the Palestinean people to exercize in the national and international courts, requests the largest cultural and political participation in Italy and abroad. A social chorality involving the parties of the left, the centre and the right is necessary, and it's not acceptable to segregate it in a unique party.
In order to have a true judge for the Palestinean people, it's necessary to have a really proper civil society, which makes morally responsible every parlamentarian and also the representatives of the main religions.
The net of the associations of artists who form Artists Against War Italy, is the witness in Italy and abroad of the solidarity to the peoples, of the respect and the defense of the political, social and religious freeedom of every human beeing.
We have been the first who talked about the right of resistance of the peoples, as sanctioned by the international agreements when this concept was unknown in Italy, but we are not the anticlericals of the party: for the respect and the dignity of our representatives in Italy and in the rest of the world joining to different religions: muslims, yewish, buddhists, christians-catholics, protestants and mormones.
For us every human beeing is equal and can to be judged only for his actions against other human beeings.
The law must be equal for all citizens.
Moni Ovadia: the false parcondicio.
The invitation of the artist is litterally a substitution of person, in the name of an unexisting parcondicio which the Palestineans of Gaza couln't have, to cover the output of Italian artists in order to the reports of the international section of the Basso Foundation.
Further Moni Ovadia has never joined to the appeals of Artists Against War translated into 9 languages, as artists like Paolo Belli, Manu Chao and Dario Fo have done.
And he doesn' t represent us.
A substitution of person which is like smoke in the eyes to deceive the French lawyer Devers, legal representative of our association and of other 430 associations in the world, and exploit the results of the press super partes obtained by the initiative of Artists Against War Italy concerning the Internatinal Penal Court.
Loredana Morandi, spokeswoman of the Net of Artists, also as a consequence of actions of mobbing by the secretary's office of Luisa Morgantini, well known to Senesi, the president of the international section of the Basso Foundation, is in hunger strike.
The hunger strike will finish exclusively stop with public agreement explanation (or clarification) and found again correctness in to act coming from Foundation Basso, that we wish doesn't want to prefer him over, in name of the only culture, to the Associations and the Ongs constituted in Right in front of the International Penal Court for the Palestinian People.
